About the Course
Change Management Professional Diploma in with the world around us constantly evolving, few things can threaten an organisation as much as the inability to adapt. Change is best led by people who understand it, so this course will teach you the proven approaches to transformation and help you lead and inspire change in others.
Learn how to implement change while maintaining the trust and engagement of employees. As organisations adapt every aspect of how they work, leaders with change management skills can help maintain employee wellbeing while also driving business success – translating organisational culture to new environments for communication and collaboration.
There are well-established theories and frameworks for strategic management that can take all the guesswork out of this potentially sensitive area. This course will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and tactics to bring others with you through change.
You’ll deepen your understanding of the emotions and behaviours that are triggered by change and learn how to create a culture that embraces change instead of rejecting it. With the skills to develop an organisational model for your own business to understand, support, and sustain change processes, you will offer immediate impact as well as long-term value to your organisation.
Students taking part in this course will now have access to the EBSCO Online Library, free of charge, for the full duration of the course. Here you can browse thousands of relevant journal articles and other reliable academic and commercial texts like the Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Forbes Magazine, to supplement your learning and assignments.
This course is assessed through a written assignment – a case-study project to be submitted after the end of the course. You will have two weeks following the end of the course to complete and submit the final assignment. The written project should be approximately 3,000 words (that’s about 5 pages of a standard Word document) in length. You will also complete ongoing action learning logs.
Your UCD Professional Academy Diploma will be issued electronically on a secure platform, with a link that you can share with employers and others wishing to verify your credentials. You’ll also be able to add the diploma to your LinkedIn profile to demonstrate your achievement to your network as well as recruiters and potential employers searching for individuals with your skills and experience. UCD Professional Academy and CPD Hours
Drawing on UCD’s educational pedigree and addressing a specific demand in the workplace we have created the UCD Professional Academy to focus on shorter, practical, skills-based courses with more specific business objectives. We add value to employee training, driving high rates of staff engagement, with more versatile practical learning outcomes. We deliver practical training solutions, specifically designed to meet today’s business needs and our professional courses are not on the NFQ.
Please allow me share the current stance on CPD allocation as agreed with the Academic Director here at UCD PA and perhaps this may help explain how are courses provide benefits:
Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate which details the commitment involved, which in the case of most courses is 36 hours. This allows HR departments to make a determination as to the allocation of CPD points for successful completion of our courses, according to their own internal CPD systems.
Courses are also assessed in line with the Professional Academy’s quality standards, and grades are confirmed on the certificate itself.
The Professional Academy Diploma is not on the National Framework of Qualifications as a credit bearing course. This is standard practice for professional courses of this nature where the need is for fresh and actionable skills (in a shorter form course) that are demonstrated immediately in the workplace.
