Cork Chamber Business School, Biznetcork Skillnet, showcased the Cork Digital Marketing Awards 2015 to recognise the outstanding achievements of Cork businesses, who are doing extraordinarily well in the digital world at a gala dinner in the Fota Collection Resort on Thursday October 29th 2015. There were over 200 digital entrepreneurs in attendance, with an impressive and distinguished list of finalists and winners, representing Start-ups, SMEs and Corporates. Partnership International was declared the overall Grand Prix winner from the 14 highly contested categories.
“One of the main objectives of the awards is to create a resource of best practice with a view to enhancing digital educational experiences and outcomes and I believe we have very much achieved this” stated Norma Lynch, Cork Chamber Business School Manager.
“Building on the phenomenal success of last year, we are once again delighted to be hosting our second Cork Digital Marketing Awards. It is clearly evident from all the entries received, that Cork businesses are driving significant results through the innovative use of powerful digital marketing.” stated Barrie O’Connell, President Cork Chamber.
“The quality of entries really impressed the judges and Cork businesses can learn a lot from the finalists and those who made the short lists” stated Damien Mulley, Mulley Communications, digital trainer for the Cork Chamber Business School and co-ordinator of the nominations and judging process for the awards. Damien also runs the Web Awards and the Social Media Awards.
KC, programme director for Red FM, who acted as MC, was as engaging and witty as he is on his radio show, as he interviewed each of the delighted winners from the 14 different categories on stage.
