Learn about understanding and applying effective body language
Veteran CNN correspondent and international communications consultant Gina London is guest speaker at the Network Cork event on Wednesday, 7 October at 6pm at Fota Golf Club, Fota Island Resort, Cork.
Gina London will be focusing on the importance of understanding and applying effective body language as part of our every day communications skills during this interactive workshop.
According to Gina, “We are all communicating something all the time. The trick is to be aware of what and how we are communicating through our posture, facial expressions and gestures. I will explain how people read us and how we can read others through non-verbal communication and how we can change the negative things you may have not known you were saying”.
Speaking in advance of the event Helen Wycherley, President, Network Cork said, “No matter what business you are in, better communications will help you better engage, persuade and be successful. For those of us who talk every day communications is often taken for granted. Our whole bodies contribute or detract from our message and Gina will show us how to effectively use the right body language techniques at the right time and to “read” others and respond accordingly. Gina has trained thousands of executives across the globe on this topic and will certainly engage our members and guests on the night”.
