"When I came to Cork from the New York, I knew that IBM had a four decade-long presence in the area. During my time here, we’ve continued to invest in Cork, including a state-of-the-art Business Continuity facility in Blackpool Business Park, which is already a key contributor to strategic IBM initiatives such as Cloud Computing and Smarter Planet. The Cork Chamber has been pivotal in helping me see how a multinational corporation and the local community truly can work together. I lead a global strategy team, and the the relationships I’ve made through the Chamber have delivered benefits for our business, not just in Ireland, but throughout IBM worldwide". Denis Collins, Global Sales Executive, IBM Business Continuity & Resiliency Services |

"Having worked away from Cork for many years, it was the logical choice to join the Chamber to build up a good network of business contacts within the city. Our membership has presented us with many business leads and it opened doors when approaching other member companies. Also, it has been invaluable in allowing us to meet senior, experienced business men who mentor and offer advice. Furthermore, the chamber has approached institutions on our behalf and has achieved responses from them which we were unable to receive as an individual company. Being a member of the chamber allows other companies to see that we take our business seriously and that we are a professional organization, which is very important for a fledgling company that is building a reputation". Ms Denise O'Callaghan, Managing Director, Delicious - The Gluten Free Bakery |

"Of all the industry groups and various organisations, Cork Chamber is definitely the one I would most recommend for any company to join. If you are a Cork based company, or do business in Cork, you need to be a member of the Cork Chamber. Its networking work is second to none, and there is great detail, thought and effort put into the content of all events, some of which are very business focussed, others which are social events, but all of which are excellent networking events to attend". Tim Murphy, Managing Director, Strencom |

"For ThinkTank, joining the Cork Chamber was a no-brainer! As Cork's first strategic marketing, branding and innovation consultancy, we needed to get the word out about how we build commercial advantage and create profit opportunities for our clients. The Chamber really is the Who's Who of business in Cork and it has enabled us to get onto the radar and into the boardrooms of the City's key decision makers. The team at the Cork Chamber really go out of their way to help new members and are highly innovative when it comes to connecting members and coordinating events. At ThinkTank, we recently ran a full page company profile in the Chamberlink magazine and the response and feedback has been terrific! We would strongly advise our own clients and other businesses to join the Cork Chamber as it is without doubt one of the smartest marketing investments you will ever make." Jonathan Amm & Lisa Murphy, Strategy & Marketing Directors - ThinkTank Consulting |

The Chamber is a point of connection between our business and the other businesses of Cork. We find the breakfast briefings, the business after hours, and the training programs to be particularly useful in meeting other like minded business people. People are open for a chat at the events and will meet up for a coffee later to discuss area of mutual benefit. We have made connections and have got business from being involved with the chamber. The Chamber emails are useful to keep an eye what’s happening and I find the staff at the chamber particularly open, welcoming and positive to deal with. "Ever since Best Doctors set up an office in Ireland the Cork Chamber has provided us with a vital link to the Cork business community. Chamber membership is excellent value for money as not only does it provide Best Doctors with information on local business affairs but the chamber is very active, visible and vocal in defending business interests in Cork. I have found that the Chamber networking events are a fantastic way of raising the profile of your business as they give members the opportunity to directly interact with key decision makers in business and industry across Cork". Damien Payne, Director, Best Doctors, U.S. Multinational |
| "As a new business enterprise offering professional HR management consultancy services across Public and Private sector employments in areas such as industrial relations, employee relations, change management, structure & pay reviews, training & development (to mention but a few) I consider joining the Cork Chamber of Commerce a success! The benefits have included the marketing of my services to a wide business audience. The networking opportunities with a substantial and diverse business community has delivered business contacts and sales leads, I anticipate this will increase over the coming months & years. The Chamber staffare supportive and professional and share their knowledge and expertise unstintingly. It is also a key resource to provide information on key business issues on the ground and to have input through lobbying various groups and organisations for change".
