Enterprise Europe Network Brings Businesses Together Worldwide

There are 600 EEN support offices across more than 60 countries worldwide, and these offices collaborate on events and business partnering activities in order to bring SMEs together and help them identify potential business partners abroad.
On Wednesday 24 June, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) at Cork Chamber is offering SMEs the opportunity to make connections with an incoming delegation from the Midlands region in the UK. Commenting on the event, Katherine Fitzpatrick, Manager of the Enterprise Europe Network, said: “One of the key aims of the EEN is to assist local businesses in identifying cross-border partnerships. We do this by working in close collaboration with our EEN partners in other jurisdictions, to help local business to connect at networking and brokerage events such as these. We are delighted to be working with our EEN colleagues in the East Midlands Chamber in Nottingham to bring Cork and UK companies together to do business”.
Guest speaker on the morning will be Naomi Fein, CEO of the innovative, Cork-based start-up ‘Think Visual’. She added: “These collaborations also give us the opportunity to showcase some of our local success stories to the incoming delegates, and Naomi’s presentation will give them a flavour of the energy that exists in the SME community in Cork. Naomi will take participants through some of the inspiring ways that visual communication can help us become innovative thinkers, effective influencers and have more creative fun in our lives. She will help us discover our own untapped visual brain and give us easy tips on using visuals to solve everyday business challenges around clarity and cross-cultural communication.”
The event, which takes place from 7.30am in the Clarion Hotel, will begin with a networking breakfast at which each of the UK delegation will introduce their businesses. Following the breakfast, individual, face-to-face meetings are being arranged.
