24th October 2014
Double celebrations at Eurotranslations, 18 Mary Street, Cork this year! The company is celebrating 40 years in business, providing translation and interpreting services and its Managing Director, Kate Murphy was the recipient of the prestigious French Order of State, the Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite.
Founded in 1974 by Mme Françoise Letellier, Eurotranslations initially offered mainly French language services in response to the market needs of the time. Since then, the language market in Ireland has grown and changed dramatically. Expanding EU membership, the opening up of eastern European markets and more recently, access to markets in Asia have all led to businesses having new language requirements and Eurotranslations has responded to these changing needs.
Nowadays, the company provides services to businesses in Ireland and further afield, encompassing a global spectrum of languages. Eurotranslations offers professional translations of technical, pharmaceutical, engineering, health and safety, IT, legal and commercial documents in eastern European and Asian languages as well as in the more traditional western European languages.
