O’Brien Office Systems Limited is proud to announce they have recently completed the loose furniture fit out for Dublin Institute of Technology Grangegorman Campus which was won through a national tender competition.
The Grangegorman site which is the largest undeveloped site in Dublin city centre was formally a mental hospital which was closed off to the public. The initial phase of development of the new campus focused on the redevelopment ant of 19th century buildings which were sympathetically restored and fully modernized to receive 150 staff and 1000 students but will ultimately see the unification of DIT in one central campus.
“We are delighted to be involved in such an exciting project that sees old building be reused in such an imaginative way” said Brian O’Brien of O’Brien Office Systems.
The next phase will allow for10,000 students to move on campus in 2017, co-inciding with the arrival of the Luas line through the area, and work will continue until 2020.
OBOS wish DIT every success in their new home & are happy to have completed another successful educational project which follows on the back of other educational projects in University of Limerick, University College Dublin and University College Cork.
