Cork Chamber Chief Executive Conor Healy today warmly welcomed the announcement that The Mater Private Hospital in Cork is set to add 150 new jobs to its facility in City Gate. The jobs, announced by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD today will include Doctors, nurses and post graduate research positions.
Mr. Healy stated that "Cork Chamber is delighted with The Mater’s expansion of operations. In particular it is the quality of the jobs, at post graduate level that shows that this region is beginning to reap the benefits of recovery. This high-level investment is testament to the high quality talent pool and supportive business environment that the region offers. The decision provides a positive and welcome boost for the Cork region. Today’s announcement substantiates once again the key strengths and resources that the region has to offer and clearly positions Cork as a location of choice.”
