Cork to get its own Digital Awards

The first ever Cork Digital Marketing Awards 2014 are being held on the 6th November 2014 in the Kingsley Hotel to showcase the innovative use of digital marketing in driving business performance and to spotlight effective digital marketing strategy by Cork Businesses.

“It's the right time for a Digital Marketing Awards for Cork as more and more businesses from Cork are doing extraordinarily well in the digital world and we want to recognise that” stated Norma Lynch, Cork Chamber Business School Manager

Nominations for these awards will open on August 26th 2014 to any Cork business and can be submitted via Cork Chamber website. Entries for each award category are judged by the public. Finalists are chosen from each award category to go to the final stage of judging, where a winner is selected.

Damien Mulley, Mulley Communications, digital trainer for the Cork Chamber Business School and organiser of the Web Awards and the Social Media Awards will bring his experience of running awards shows to manage the nomination and judging system.

The winners will remain a closely guarded secret until the announcement at a gala lunch in the Kingsley Hotel on 6th November 2014 where KC, Programme Director of Red FM, will be MC for the event.
