ULSTER BANK ANNOUNCES RENEWAL OF €12m WEATHER FUND FOR BUSINESS

Ulster Bank has renewed a support package worth €12m for businesses adversely affected by the recent extreme weather. The scheme will assist new and existing Ulster Bank customers to meet short-term cash commitments that have arisen as a result of weather conditions, such as repairs and managing their working capital. The fund is intended to provide some relief for businesses working back to normal trading conditions or awaiting insurance claims.

Many businesses have suffered sudden and severe disruption and loss of income because of the recent unseasonal weather. Ulster Bank recognises the difficulty that this causes and is on hand to offer support to help relieve some of this stress, whether that's for an existing customer or someone joining the bank for the first time.

Ulster Bank is targeting this support to get companies back trading as normally and as quickly as possible.

Funds are available at existing rates for business customers extending their facilities. Normal terms and conditions apply to new customers.
