Finalists announced in the Cork Company of the Year Awards

Cork Chamber, in partnership with Vodafone, has announced the companies shortlisted for the 2014 Cork Company of the Year Awards.

‘This years awards have seen the highest number of entrants across all categories and we congratulate all companies that took part as the information supplied at each stage of the process was excellent. As a judge it was very exciting to see the breadth of companies in the region and the fantastic work being done so selecting the three shortlisted companies has been a tough challenge but we look forward to announcing the overall winners at our Annual Dinner on Feb 7th’, commented Conor Healy, Chief Executive of Cork Chamber.

Three companies have been shortlisted in each of the categories as follows:

Large Company (more than 100 employees)

McAfee empowers people to safely experience the benefits of the Internet
DPS Engineering adding value to industry by engineering effective solutions
Voxpro is a multilingual business process outsourcing provider, delivering customer contact solutions on behalf of more than 100 SME’s and multi-national corporations.

SME Company (less than 100 employees)

Compliance & Risks: Global Compliance – Risk Management – Strategic Growth
Crest Solutions provides automated machine vision inspection and tracking systems to customers in regulated packaging industries.
Johnson & Perrott Motor Group, an Irish family company, is a leading provider of automotive services headquartered in Cork City.

Emerging Company (less than 5 years in business)

AnaBio’s patented technologies deliver ingredients to specific locations in the body
Keohane Seafoods is a family run, rapidly expanding, innovation- lead seafood company
Xanadu Consultancy is a leading provider of software development and consultancy services

The winner in each category as well as the overall winner will be announced at the Chamber Annual Dinner on Friday, 7th February at City Hall, Cork.
