For the third year running, the “Night at the Dogs” charity fundraiser is being organised in aid of Haven, the charity working to build and implement sustainable communities in Haiti.
Always a great night’s entertainment at Curraheen Park, this year’s event will be held on Thursday, 8 November 2012 at 7pm. It is hoped that the third annual Night at the Dogs will raise record and much needed funds for the incredible work that Haven are doing in Haiti.
“In Ireland, we’ve always been so supportive of those in need. The people of Haiti who are without homes or even shelter for the winter, and without proper sanitation need our help more than ever”, said Leslie Buckley, founder of Haven. “This event always proves the generosity of Cork people and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting this fundraiser night at the dogs for Haven”.
Mary Power, Westboro Partners said “The organising team is very excited about this year’s fundraising event and we urge all those who have not purchased a ticket as yet to contact us as soon as possible to secure a place on the night”.
Mairead O’ Brien, Nash 19 added “This event is always a great night of entertainment and networking in Cork. There are lots of fantastic prizes to won as well as the usual flutter on the dogs. All proceeds raised on the night will go directly to Haven”.
Tickets are on sale now costing cost just €10 for entry or €180 for a table for 4 including entry and a 3 course meal. You can buy a ticket directly from Cork Independent, Nash 19s, Clarion Hotel Cork, and a number of other outlets.
The Night at the Dogs fundraiser is supported by Nash 19, CAMEO Communications, Westboro Partners, EazyCork, B2B Print and B2B Signs, Network Cork and the Clarion Hotel.
