Cork Chamber Chief Executive, Conor Healy today welcomed the establishment of a new Small Business Advisory Group by the Minister for Small Business, John Perry T.D.
Conor Healy, Chief Executive of Cork Chamber and Sherri Brennan representing South Dublin Chamber have been appointed by Chambers Ireland to represent the National Chamber Network on this very important issues driven group, whose role is to identify the key challenges impacting small businesses and develop proposals for addressing these matters with the Minister for onward reference to Government.
Commenting Mr Healy said, “This is a positive step and I look forward to representing the Chamber Network and its members in bringing perspective and context to the various challenges currently facing the SME sector. Issues such as access to credit, local authority charges and the need for commonsense regulation are all critical ingredients to sustaining our economic recovery, reducing unemployment numbers and driving a vibrant SME sector”, concluded Mr Healy.
