Cork Chamber has today welcomed the launch of the IGNITE Graduate Business Centre at University College Cork (UCC). IGNITE is a UCC initiative in collaboration with the Cork County and City Enterprise Boards and supported by Cork County Council, Cork Chamber, EMC, PFH and the entrepreneur community.
Commenting on the initiative Cork Chamber Chief Executive Conor Healy said, “Fostering enterprise and innovation is vital. IGNITE is an opportunity for recent higher education graduates of any discipline to accelerate their business start up, turn innovate ideas into products and services, create jobs and contribute to economic recovery”.
“IGNITE can offer much needed support to entrepreneurs including free state of the art business incubation space for 12 months, a comprehensive Start Your Own Business programme as well as mentoring and training as well as membership of Cork Chamber affording them tailored business support, information, networking and promotional opportunities and representation on key business issues”.
