With 133,000 people tuning into the station every week, RedFM show that they are listening to what the people of Cork want, and provide positive, fun programmes, up to date news and sport, and the latest in new music for their audience.
In their target audience of 15 to 34 year olds, RedFM blow away their competition, reaching 94,000 or 61% of this audience every week, and 63,000 or 41% every single day; more than any other radio station broadcasting in Cork.
RedFM’s newest recruits Seamus and Gemma on the Red Rooster are particularly happy with the latest results having gained an additional 3,000 listeners to their Breakfast programme and retaining their position as number one Breakfast show in Cork for Under 35s.
Programme Director, Colm O’Sullivan said “This was a particularly strong JNLR book for RedFM, it shows growth across the board, and we’re really excited as we’re planning an even more interactive and entertaining schedule for the next six months”.
This great news comes on top of recent success at the PPI National Radio Awards where Colm O’Sullivan won a Gold award for his programme “Transmission” which airs every Friday night at 7pm.
