Dinner Theatre July-Aug 2010 - Raccoon at CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory

From July 22nd Meridian Theatre Company presents Raccoon, in a summer dinner theatre residency at the Castle Bar and Trattoria. Join us from 5.30pm over the next six Thursdays (Thursday July 22nd- Thursday August 26th) for your chance to enjoy this contempory theatrical production.

Meridian's hugely successful touring production will be a major addition to Cork's menu of cultural tourism attractions; using the stunning backdrop of Blackrock Castle, it combines theatre and dining.

Take a tour of Blackrock Castle's towers before the 6pm show and admire the city on the Lee from Cork's original watchtower. Follow the tour with theatre and a meal with a drink.

Tickets €30 per person (tour/theatre/meal/drink) can be booked on 021 4357917 or info@bco.ie

Raccoon blurb
Raccoon is a poignant, lyrical tale of small town Irish life. Centring on Saoirse, a waitress in
a small café, it explores the great contemporary Irish themes of children laid aside but held in the heart as a lifelong yearning, of parents named and unnamed, lost and found. Saoirse doesn't know who she is or where she comes from but by a bizarre chance encounter in her café she is offered the opportunity to reconstruct her past and her future.
