Cork Chamber held it’s October Business After Hours Event in the Clarion Hotel, which was run in association with O’Donovan’s Off Licences and included a wine fair, educating guests on wines from around the world. Chamber members had the opportunity of tasting wines from France, Spain, Italy and Australia as well as wines from the New World, including Chile, Argentina, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as a selection of champagnes and sparkling wines.

Almost 100 people attended the event signifying a strong return for Chamber members into the networking season. Chamber CEO Conor Healy congratulated Cork Independent on their 5th year anniversary and also recent Chamber members Otterbox on the announcement of new jobs in Cork. O’Donovan’s kindly sponsored a crate of Thomond Reserve wine which was won by Paud O’Mahony of Wilson Architecture – congratulations! O’Donovans also offered discounts on all wines on show exclusively for Chamber members.
