Bill Walshe featured in the September Business Breakfast, which was held at the River Lee Hotel on Thursday 23rd September. Bill joined The Doyle Collection (formerly Jurys Doyle Hotel Group) as Chief Executive Officer in July 2007. In his first 18 months, he steered the group through a massive €200million refurbishment programme, which culminated in the rebranding to the Doyle Collection towards the end of last year.
Bill joined the Group from the Dubai luxury hotel group Jumeirah where he was a senior member of the Board and held the role of Chief Marketing and Business Innovation Officer. Jumeirah Group has revenues in excess of €1bn and owns the seven star Burj-Al-Arab hotel, one of its flagship properties.
