Chamber Representatives on External Committees
Cork Chamber is pleased to have a wide range of members who represent the views of Cork Business through their participation on various external committees and working groups.
In addition, Cork Chamber acted as the regional co-ordinator on behalf of the business and employer pillar (which is comprised of Cork Chamber, Cork Business Association, Construction Industry Federation, Cork Marketing Partnership, IBEC, and other Chambers in the Cork region), regarding the appointment of Business representatives to the City and County Council’s SPC’s for 2009 - 2014. The Business and Employer Pillar was successful in nominating twelve representatives to the Strategic Policy Committees of Cork City and County Council’s, and these representatives are outlined below:
