To position Cork as a key “Gateway” by providing input and direction to the various strategic statutory and non-statutory plans and policies shaping the regional economic landscape
Membership is comprised of Chamber Members, Local Authorities, State Agencies, Key Local Stakeholders and Regional Chambers Representative
Chairman: Mr. Denis Healy, Port of Cork
Representative of both transport users and providers, the committee focuses on the delivery of the main infrastructure priorities for regional enterprise development
Chairman: Mr. Ruairi Roddy, Thomas Crosbie Holdings
To focus on critical infrastructure deficits in the region, from a telecommunications perspective.
Representation from the Telecom carriers, the Internet Service Providers, mobile operators media providers, IT companies and Local Authorities
Chairman: Mr. David Austin, ConocoPhillips
To consider the innovative capacity of the region’s businesses and to underline the necessity of innovation as a core element of every company’s business model.
Representation from Industry – Chamber Members, Third level institutions and State Agencies
Chairman: Mr. Eoin Motherway, The Bank of New York Mellon
Focus on the development and execution of a “Financial Services Strategy”, with the objective of attracting a balanced portfolio of financial services activity into the region.
