Information on Innovation Supports and Services in Ireland
The Enterprise Europe Network in Cork Chamber along with the Enterprise Europe Network partners in Enterprise Ireland and 4 other Chamber of Commerce (Galway, Sligo, Dublin, Waterford) were awarded the EU contract to develop an Irish Directory covering all Innovation Services & Supports available to all SMEs in Ireland from sub-regional to European level. The information will be available in the form of a web-based Directory / Mapping Tool which is currently being developed and launched through 6 large “European Innovation Information Days” throughout Ireland. One of these Information Days will take place in Cork in early in 2012.Because of the critical role of SMEs in the European economy, Europe's capacity to build on their growth and innovation potential is central to Europe's 2020 strategy and will be decisive for the future prosperity of the EU as it emerges from the crisis.
